Join the Council of Canadians Edmonton Chapter
for a special viewing of the
True Cost of Oil Exhibit
Please join us on Saturday, June 1, noon to 3 pm at the U of A FAB Gallery to meet, chat and view the True Cost of Oil Exhibit which displays photographer, Garth Lenz’s incredible pictures of the mines and tailings contrasted with local natural terrain.
The Edmonton Chapter of the Council of Canadians has participated with other Alberta Environmental organizations, such as the indigenous led Keepers of the Water, in informing Albertans of the risks,dangers and financial impacts of the massive oilsands tailings lakes. We are eager to support this exhibit and meet others concerned about this environmental disaster in our north.
